BRIAN PHILHOWER

Brian's family purchased a waterfront home on Lake Cypress Springs in 1996 while he was attending Plano Senior High School. Upon graduating from SMU in 2003 with degrees in both Finance and Economics, Brian promptly moved to the lake full time. In addition to having an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau, Brian is a certified member of the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing as well as a certified Real Estate Negotiation Expert. Brian is uniquely positioned to exceed his client's expectations because of his deep familiarity and experience with both the Dallas market as well as the lake home market. Brian's dedication to the highest degree of personal and professional standards is clearly evident in every phase of each real estate transaction.

Brian is married to his best friend and business partner. They have 3 children in elementary school. Brian is an avid outdoorsman and conservationalist. He splits his free time between boating on local lakes and his family's ranch in Oklahoma. The ranch is actually a federally protected wetland that is actively managed by the Philhower family and the US government in an effort to re-establish and enhance the integrity of the land. In the last 20 years the ranch has been transformed by planting thousands of trees, tens of thousands of pounds of native grasses, cultivation, controlled fires, selective tree removal, and the installation of water control structures to allow for periodic flooding. When his children are a little older, Brian intends to earn a PhD in fire ecology, in his free time of course.
